Correction

I want to apologize to anyone who got the wrong impression with my workout mix post, i.e.:

I've made some revision(s), accordingly. Somebody Archie slap me to set me straight if it happens again.

¡El Regreso de La Flama Blanca!

Season 3 of Eastbound and Down starts February 19th. It seems like the new season is gonna be about the kids. Well alright!

I can't tell...

video platformvideo managementvideo solutionsvideo player ...if this is one of the proudest moments of Tunechi's life or just a continuation of his downfall.
The stakes: $1,000 to the winner at the King of Diamonds in Miami. Oh, and Weezy's audience.
What a royal payout. Gotta give the dude credit who asks at the end if anyone else wants to fight, after somehow someone let the fight happen in the first place. Sidenote: Somebody quick tell Wayne that his pants selection of late have been bizarre. And dumb.

I love me a good guitar solo

A guy (Zach) from Lantern (indie rock label) wrote up a little something something, listing his favorite guitar shreddage throughout time. And let me say, it's a great list. Of course Maggot Brain is at the top...

Official* DONDA commercial

*As in unofficial. Composed of actual tweets by Ye. Future products and services that will be offered by DONDA: *fingers crossed* Air Yeezy lineup, an app for your smart phone that says, "That shit cray," an actual Ghetto University that specializes in production and swagger development.

DMX got security like none other

video platformvideo managementvideo solutionsvideo player Earl's security crew moves in dumb fast as a guy tries to swing at Earl at a concert. I want a timed contest among the secret service, Earl's crew, and the UCPD.

PSA from the Niceguys

This is how real artists make hits. DANCE MOFO. Cannot wait for this project to drop.

No Mercy Vol. 1

Here's the deal with this mixtape: A somebody special asked me to make another one of my highly sought after workout mixes to help him/her get swoll to. I obliged. I took a different approach with this one by throwing in the more upbeat electronic music with the Hip Hop and some rock. I alternated them instead of sectioning them out in the playlist because it gave a better flow to it in the sense of mixing in different energy levels. Because when you're working out there are definitely points where you need more motivation and big beats than other points. Also this is the kind of stuff that makes me "feel like I'm cumming"** in and outside the gym, on or off the track.

NO MERCY VOL. 1 (remember it's the blue download link in the blue box)

1. horsepower: solid start. the tone is dark enough to set some crazy goals like benching 100 lbs. more than you can imagine and yet grounding to help you realize you'd die if you did that.
2. take the power back: don't let those meat heads in the gym feel like they're the only ones with power.
3. black aura: make that stank face and keep pushing through.
4. the stroke: or the pump. this song has been a huge source of samples for hip hop. you best recognize.
5. originator: i don't care if you hate dubstep. this song will make you want to jump over buildings then go back and knock them down with your head.
6. gucci gucci: i was hesitant to put this on here but it's nice to hear someone attempt at actually rapping over this beat. the beat is too good to pass up. you know you want to feel like a baller, shot caller, in the gym with this blasting.
7. the way she moves: mustard pimp remixing a south rakkas crew joint? MASSIVE.
8. not even jets can fly: dyme def makes so many types of hip hop. and this certainly is motivating to say the least.
9. city kids: yeah, mustard pimp is on this playlist twice. yeah, he's that good.
10. beats to rhyme: mick boogie released a run d.m.c. project that remixed some classics with new mc's rapping over them. this is a standout track.
11. jump on stage: one of the few girl talk tracks i can handle. it just so happens to have that vibe to help you run for days.
12. dead meat: near the end of the playlist. finish strong.
13. city star: funny how this is one of my favorite wiz songs. this should inspire you to celebrate after a long workout.
14. the city: you can either use this as a cool down track or the final push in your workout. kendrick lamar never disappoints.

How to make gold

This, for some reason, didn't make the cut to air during the Superbowl... Any ideas why? Yeah, me neither. J-E-T-S JETS... oh wait. #i'mbetterthansanchezatthispoint

January 2 = deadmau5 Day

It's official. The party capital of this side of the western hemisphere named January 2nd, deadmau5 day. He's gonna start working the XS nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas. Why do I picture drugged out, paper thin girls in bikinis when I hear that club name... Anyway, remember, if you try hard enough and make enough college kids/dirty rich adults who party like they're in college roll their faces off to your music, they will name a holiday after you. Believe in yourself!

So I just killed a man!

Oklahoma be wilin out after the new years, poppin off. Not only are people trying to rob each other in their own homes but they're getting shot with 12 gauges and dying for it. One mom is making sure her kid spends 2012 the right way--no intruders. I suggest blasting Rage's How I Could Just Kill A Man while watching the video interview.

New Year! New Money!

Weeknd fans (and really good guitarists/bassists)!

Drake's associate, The Weeknd, is holding tryouts for a guitarist and bassist to tour with him. NO joke. Requirements: Be ready to love Toronto because you'll be from there in your application. Don't list X-Factor as credentials. Be fairly well known on youtube. Be good at making trippy ass noises on your guitar/bass that can reverberate for miles.

UPDATE: Lower your volume

Chief Keef = big beats (actually the best part about the music, sadly) + mediocre lyrics about trapping + the most annoying ad libs shouting BANG

In other words, all hype, nothing to see here.

Luda! The businessman!

Unfortunately for my Atlanta followers, I have bad news. Mr. Bridges is closing his restaurant, Straits Atlanta (Singaporean cuisine). But on the other hand, I have great news! He's going to focus on his new project in the Atlanta airport, a joint called, none other than, Chicken and Beer. Shiii, I know where I'm flying out of from now on, regardless of my destination. I expect 40's, racks on racks on racks and a VIP "smoking section."

Best song about social networks

Dude is only 18. Luke Christopher uses Creep by Radiohead as the backdrop for his commentary on social networks. His mixtape, Building Skies, recently came out. He practically produced the whole thing, save two tracks. Not exactly club bangers but some chill music to unwind to.

New Year. New Talent

One of my best friend's brother is out there hustling. And YOU should recognize him. And his crew. Straight outta St. Louis. Midwest, but kinda south more, stand up!
Lineup: Louie, Chris, Ant Steezin.

Diddy for President

I don't really mean that, but hell, I'd vote for him. Ciroc for daze. I don't think you understand how much I admire Mr. Combs (all joking aside, remember when he used to rap nice with that Don Juan swag?)From embracing his crazy ass attitude in Get Him to the Greek to his PSA's on avoiding obstacles in life, Diddy has the best personality for the game's growth (or decline). You get the down to earth Diddy:
and the wilin' out Diddy who takes shit from no one aka you gotta buy his drink:
Anyway, enough of my ramblings, here's some more footage of the NYE party you wish you were at.

Yeezy World Peace Sighting #3412

Surprising. DJ YWP plays his favorite song of late, "I've got Parisian friends who are blacks," while holding down a set on NYE in Vegas.

His face is priceless from 1:00-1:10. Last time he made that face was when Amber use to work it on him.

Lower your volume

...when you watch this video. You woulda thought Michael Jordan slam dunked, over Blake Griffin, on Bronbron while Tupac was performing new material, while Jesus was doing backflips with the Dallas Cowboys cheerleading squad after seeing this kid's reaction. What's he reacting too?
Chief Keef: a Chicago MC who returns to the world from prison. I'm about to check out his mixtape from back in October to see if this kid is flipping a shit for a good cause...
