MMG Lady

We found her! Or Complex found her! The official voice behind the Maybach Music drop is the Australian supermodel Jessica Gomes. And let me tell you, she pretty much matches the hot level in my mind whenever I heard that line. I know you agree.

Finally

Kris Kasanova- Oh Lord (Directed by Alex Haldi) from Homeskool on Vimeo.

I've been waiting for this video to drop since Blue Ivy Carter was born. I mean, for a while. One of my favorite tracks off his mixtape, War Paint.

Daily Sleeze

To ensure the health of the Common/Drake beef, Custom De Vasquez (from Chicago of course) created this shirt for sale to the masses. For $15-25, depending on your size/how you're doing on your new year's resolution, you can cop it and let the world know how you really feel about Aubrey. Check him out on Facebook.

Blue Ivy Carter officially becomes the youngest person to be on the Billboards charts. This is getting out of hand. She's already breaking records before she can form complete thoughts. I lose. She's gonna be the first female president at the age of 17. And win the war of terror.

Get More: Music News

The Amber/Yeezy affair continues to draw attention as Ms. Rose is interviewed, apparently in the Arctic region, on just her side of the room. I don't know much, but I do know that when you end a relationship with arguably one of the most eccentric artists in the world, who has fans that are just as crazy, if not crazier, you will draw attention in the form of hate. Deal with it.

Shit NOBODY says

Finally a clever "shit (somebody) says" video. It was just a matter of time. Not to say I didn't like the past ones. Just watch it.

DIEMON

Get familiar with the DIEMON crew from Hotlanta. Bugus and Dartlin are very worthy MC's and Russ holds his own on the production. They're gonna be around for a while so download their stuff and thank the gods for real Hip Hop.

Celebrities, stop being ambitious

In case you didn't know, Wiz and Amber are starring in a "Western" of some sorts coming out February 14. This trailer did absolutely nothing for me. Good job on not giving Amber any lines in this scene though. The more you know...

another MUSIC VIDEO

I really hope by now that you have as much curiosity and respect for Black Opera as I do. They talk some real shit in the lyrics.
Girls looking like Outkast artwork.

That's tits

Not doing anything important? Didn't think so. Learn something about your favorite actress, Sarah Marshall.

MUSIC VIDEOS

I know I don't post enough music videos so here are a couple that caught my eye.

Paul White is a brilliant producer/musician from London. Cop any of his albums and get ready for a sonically infused trip to the illNoise.

Jared Evan>Mike Posner. The Fourth Chapter drops soon.

SURPRISE! This is how you shoot a music video under house arrest. And guess what? The music is still doo doo. LOL @ the "laser" around 1:30. They go hard in the streets around Chief Keef. Or in his house, at least. But not as hard as Rick Ross' neighborhood fo sho.

Ok, but forreal, here's an actual track with good lyrics and a little somethin somethin for the visually oriented.

Lupe the Killer

Mr. Fiasco announces a couple projects "coming soon." DOPE. Hopefully they're not as politically nor greedy corporately charged as some of his other stuff.

NEW Jay-Z Track

That's right. You heard me. How else does one of the best in the game celebrate his daughter's birth? Jay-Z just released this track, GLORY, on the internet. It's kinda tough to miss that it's dedicated to Blue Ivy. Very honest, personal shit in this track. Cheers Hov!

How important is the New Hampshire Primary?

Not at all. Because Vermin Supreme cares more about dental hygiene, free ponies, his mother, zombie alternative energy, and gay transformation via magic powder than anything else. And maybe there's something to learn from that. Or not.

The beef continues

First we had Aubrey on Stay Schemin'.

And now we have Lonnie on Stay Schemin'.

Dang. That artwork? Hoe music? So black and white? Canada dry? Aaaaand heeeere weeee gooooo.

And on this day, Blue Ivy Carter was born

Aside from the silly assumptions (Blue Magic as a lullaby? Really? Do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it?) ABC news makes about the meaning behind the name of the new addition to the Carter family, much love to Hova and Bey. And I know the C-section did not help at all. This kid probably has a record deal lined up already worth more than my soul...
