...because SOME people think that the internet has become enough of a threat to the fat pockets of corporations that any and all expressions of creativity that is broadcasted for whatever non-monetary reasons must be checked:
1.
Why yes, that is Kendrick Lamar and Pharrell (I refuse you call him the Imperial Sk8brd P or anything of the like) in the studio together. But of course the music will be cracksauce.
2. Swizz Beatz is the daddy! Remember that site, Megaupload? Yeah, the one with the half naked chicks reminding you how much time there is before you can actually download some
porn music from a blog. Turns out that Swizz Beatz is actually the CEO of the company and may owe some favors after having Kanyeezy, Will.i.am, and Diddy, catching flak from Universal Music Group about
this. Those three artists' label is more upset than Ray J in Vegas (
lest we forget) because of the implied "piracy" sites like Megaupload promote. Piracy in this case includes albums you can buy online, i.e.: iTunes and Amazon (because those sites are struggling so much these days) and those of local, aspiring artists across the world that fight everyday to be heard. Funny how maturing artists are hustling for a contract when the established ones are fighting against their contracts.
3. Blue Ivy Carter continues to be more interesting than anything else in the world.
